June Favourites!

Hey guys!

It's the end of another month so it's time for my June favourites! This month has gone by really quickly and I'm very happy to have finished A Levels!

My first favourite this month is a foundation, it's the L'oreal Infallible Matte. I've worn this foundation everyday I've worn makeup, it's long lasting, high coverage and very matte, which for someone with oily skin like me is great. I'm even going to be wearing this to my sixth form prom next month because it's so incredible! I can't fault this product and it comes in at a mere £7.99!

Bright nail varnish is an essential in summer and my favourite this month has been Rimmel's Rita Ora nail varnish in Neon Fest. This colour is definitely out of my comfort zone as I'm not the biggest lover of pink, especially bright pink but I've being loving this nail varnish. I've worn it almost everyday this month as it adds a nice summery feel to an outfit!

My next favourite is a fashion one, it's these white New Look sandals. I'm going away quite a bit this summer and I wanted some sandals that were stylish but good for walking in and these have both areas covered. The chunky sole adds an edge but is also very practical! They go with everything as they're white which is an added bonus and I know I'll be getting a lot of wear out of these this summer!

Another fashion favourite is my Guns n' Roses top from Forever 21. I've had this top for a while now and have always loved it because I love Guns n' Roses but this month I've been living in it haha! It's such a nice fit and is easy to throw on with any outfit to add a rock n roll edge to it. You can't beat a top that has Axl Rose's face on it ;)!

I've loved the Maybelline Colour Tattoos for a while now and I have a couple of the colours and this month I've found myself wearing the pink gold shade a lot! This is not a typical shade for me, as I said I'm not the biggest fan of pink, but this colour is just so summery and looks perfect on its own or with different shadows. It's long wearing and easy to blend so you can't go wrong!

This month I have two TV favourites. The first is the show Peaky Blinders. My dad was the first one to introduce me to this programme and as soon as I started watching it I became obsessed! It's about a gang from Birmingham after WW1; it's got everything from violence to comedy. I have to admit I've fallen in love with the main character, Thomas Shelby played by Cillian Murphy. I can't wait to see what happens in series 3, it's definitely worth a watch!

My second TV favourite is the new season of Orange is the New Black! Orange is the New Black has to be one of favourite TV shows so when the new season came out I had to try and not binge watch it all! The new season, like the other two seasons, has been amazing and I really want season 4 already! If you've not checked this show out yet you really need it, it's amazing!

Thanks for reading! What were your favourites this month?x

Summer essentials

Hey guys!

As summer is upon us I thought I'd make a post about my summer essentials!

My first essential is self tan. I'm really pale so in summer this is my best friend. I'm not a fan of fake tan so I prefer to use gradual tanning moisturiser as it smells better and leaves your skin silky smooth and golden. I use the Dove Summer Glow gradual tan moisturiser in fair to medium and it works really well in giving me a golden glow!

My next essential is a bright lipstick. I think bright lipsticks just add such a summery feel to any makeup look. My favourite at the moment is the Essence long lasting lipstick in 13 Love Me, it's a beautiful bright fuschia pink and is a steal at £2.30!

If there's any time in the year to bring out the bright nail polishes it's summer. Just like bright lipsticks they add such a summery feel to an outfit. My favourite at the moment is neon fest from the Rita Ora Rimmel collection, it's not a colour I'd usually go for but I've been loving it recently!

In summer I love to have a statement necklace to add to an outfit. My favourite is this bohemian coin necklace which I recently included in a post, it's perfect for just adding to an outfit and I think it looks especially great in the summer!

My next essential is a fashion one. Everyone needs a pair of sandals for summer. I picked up these white ones from New Look a couple of weeks ago. I love them as they have a chunky sole which adds an edge to any outfit and because they're white they go with everything!

Another fashion essential is sunglasses. I'm a sunglasses lover, I have tons of pairs because I love wearing them! For my 18th birthday I got these pair of Raybans which I've wanted forever! These are my go to sunglasses now as they go with any outfit and are just such a classic style.

My last essential is a summer fragrance. I love to have a fruity perfume in summer and this summer I've gone back to one of my old favourites! It's the Hollister beach mist in Palisades Beach. I used to use this when I was 15/16 and it just smells of summer to me! It smells of peaches and kiwis and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new summer fraguence.

So those were my summer essentials! Thanks for reading! What are your summer essentials?x

Current Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey guys!

So today I thought I would show you my current everyday makeup routine. It's very simple as I only wear it to sixth form and I really can't be bothered to do a proper face of makeup first thing in the morning!

First I start by moisturing my face and then I apply the Makeup Revolution ultra face base primer to help my foundation last longer as I have very oily skin!

I then apply my Mac pro longwear concealer to cover up any spots or redness. This product is pricey at £17 but if you have acne prone skin like I do it's amazing for covering up those nasty face demons! Also as the name suggest this product does last a very long time without budging. It's one of my best investments.

Next I buff my foundation into my skin. I use the L'oreal infallible matte foundation and oh my god, it's incredible! I only just started using it but it's high coverage, matte and long lasting, everything I could want in a foundation and it's a steal for only £7.99! I then use my Seventeen miracle matte powder to set my foundation (as you can tell I love matte products haha!).

Next I move on to my brows, I use the Makeup Revolution brow dual arch & shape to lightly fill them in and then I use the Natural Collection clear mascara to set them. Filling in my eyebrows honestly makes me look so much better, or at least I think so, I can't go without doing it now!

Next I use my NYC bronzer in Manhatten under my cheek bones, on my temples and jawline to give some warmth and definition to my face, this really makes a really big difference to my makeup in my opinion as it gives me such a healthy glow. I then take my Makeup Revolution highlighter in peach lights on the top of my cheek bones to add more glow to my face. I'm in love with highlighters!

I then move on to eyes, I don't use eyeshadow for my everyday makeup as that's a bit too much effort for me in the morning. Instead I just add my NYC black kohl eyeliner to my tightline and then add a couple of coats of my Rimmel Sandaleyes Rockin' Curves mascara to my lashes. This mascara really lengthens and volumises my lashes and as I like having massive lashes it's perfect for me!

Lastly I pop on my Seventeen mirrorshine lipstick in Beehive to add a nice peachy pink to my lips.

So that's my current everyday makeup routine! I hope you enjoyed! What's your everyday makeup routine?x

5 Favourite Jewellery Items

Hey guys!

Today I will be showing you my five favourite jewellery pieces from my collection. I'm a lover of jewellery and I have so many pieces so it was hard to just pick five pieces!

My first piece is arguably my favourite, it's this bohemian style coin necklace.
This is such a statement piece that can pull together any outfit, day or night. I love everything about this necklace! I like to wear it with old band tshirts to give them more of a 70s rock n roll vibe. I got this from ebay for only £2.99!

These next necklaces I've included in my May monthly favourites, it's these gold geometric necklaces.
As I said in my monthly favourites these necklaces are really nice and minimalistic and are easy to put with any outfit. There's not much else I can say about these necklaces except I love them! They're £1.50 each from Primark.

Next is this large stone ring.
This is one of my favourite rings that I own, and I own a lot! It's very statement but looks great worn with multiple smaller rings and it adds a rock n roll vibe to any outfit. My favourite thing about this ring is the stone in it, it's so beautiful and looks amazing in different lights. It's a labrodriate stone which is associated with power and magic and also helps to keep away negativity! I got this ring from the online jewellery store Bleached Jewellery for £10, which is a great price considering it's sterling silver!

My next favourite is another sterling silver ring. It's this dainty moonstone ring.
The stone on this ring is so beautiful, it changes all different colours in the light. This ring can be paired with any outfit and put with other rings, it's perfect for adding that extra something to an outfit. I got it from Cheap Frills for £16.

My last items are these simple gold rings.
These are perfect with any outfit and great for adding a minimalistic feel, they can also be worn day or night. I like to wear them all together with the gold geometric necklaces. These were from eBay and only cost 99p!

Day in the life-Thorpe Park!

Hey guys!

So last Wednesday me, my boyfriend and my two friends headed off to Thorpe Park for the day! If you don't know what Thorpe Park is it's a theme park in the UK full of crazy rollercoasters.
We set off at 9.30 and arrived at 10.30 after an hour of sing alongs down the motorway at the top of our lungs, it was fabulous.
When we got there we jumped straight on some rides and proceeded to scream and laugh at the top of our lungs. Luckily no one was sick, we just weren't able to walk in a straight line for a while!
After a couple of rides we went to get some food and then got in the queue for another ride; we were in the queue for around half an hour so luckily our food had some time to go down (although we all did feel as though our hot dogs were about to come back up!).
After this we went on Saw which has some of the biggest drops in it so it's great for a rollercoaster lover such as myself. Strangely we didn't have to queue for that long which was good and we all loved the ride. Here's a hilarious photo of us on Saw, I think our faces sum up what the ride is like pretty well haha!

After Saw we decided to go on some water rides and oh god we got completely soaked! I luckily got the least of it somehow but my friend Emma was drowned in water which I have to admit was quite funny. It was sunny and warm so we soon dried thankfully!
We went on a couple more rides after that, screaming as went, but by 6.00pm we were all pretty tired and warn out so we decided to go home, not before getting doughnuts though! On the way home we ate our doughnuts and had another sing along, a much sleepier sing along on my part though, I was knackered, getting up at 8.00 doesn't agree with me.

It was such a great day! I hope you enjoyed this post even though it was quite short, I'm hoping to do some more day in the life posts soon. Thank you for reading x
